The senate of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka has approved June 14 for the resumption of 2020/2021 academic session in the university.
The University’s Acting Head of Information and Public Relations, Mrs.,. China Gladys Ene in a statement on Friday, said the decision was taken at the 207th meeting of the Senate held on May 28, 2021.
The statement reads, " In line with the revised academic calendar for the completion of 2019/2020 session for Regular Students, as approved by the Senate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, the second semester exams will be completed on Friday, May 28, 2021".
"Sequel to this,the students are to proceed on vacation afterwards till June 11, 2021*."
"While academic activities for the 2020/2021, will commence on Monday, June 14, 2021".
In a related development, the revised academic calendar as earlier approved was ratified by the Senate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka in her Friday meeting in Awka.
