More revelations have emerged on the circumstances surrounding the Saturday killing of Felix Olajide Sowore by some persons suspected to be kidnappers.
The Command’s Public Relations Officer, Bello Kontongs, gave the revelation at a press briefing in Benin,
According to him, Sowore was not an occupant of the bus from which five persons were kidnapped.
He noted that the deceased was driving himself from Okada to Benin, when he ran into the suspected kidnappers.
The PPRO added that the command has deployed its Tactical Teams and some local vigilantes with the aim of rescuing the victims and apprehending the suspects.
