Okowa, while defending his emergence as the vice-presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party that was condemned by Southern leaders.

The. headless body of kidnapped Anambra State physically challenged politician identified as Nelson Achukwu, has been found by his relatives.

It was gathered that the decapitated body of the Achukwu was found between the boundary of Uke and Ukpor areas of the state.

Mbaka: Spiritual Head Adoration Ministry Disociates Self From Sunday Church Protest

Fiery Enugu Catholic priest and Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry Emene, Enugu Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka has distanced himself from Sunday protests by the Adoration congregation.

The protest which was targeted at the Enugu Catholic Bishop, Callistus Onaga rocked the State capital Sunday as the demonstrator insisted that the bishop must go.

The protest was a reaction to the ban imposed on the Adoration Ministry by Bishop Onaga.

The Kaduna State Universal Basic Education Board (KADSUBEB) says it has dismissed 2,357 teachers who failed the recently conducted competency test.

Its spokesperson, Hauwa Mohammed, in a statement on Sunday in Kaduna, said the board conducted a competency test for over 30,000 teachers in December 2021.
