Nigerian-born New Zealand Mixed Martial Artist, Israel Adesanya, was welcomed by a display of the Haka dance in Auckland, New Zealand following his UCF Middleweight win.

In a viral video shared on Thursday, Adesanya received a hero’s welcome as his fans performed the traditional Maori ceremony on the road.
Haka is a ceremonial MΔori dance usually performed in a group during ceremonies and celebrations to honour guests and show the importance of the occasion.
