“These are the kind of things we want especially from young people and it is quite heartwarming that Hon Chukwunwendu found delight in supporting the UNIZIK students in this manner.

“We wish to call on other wealthy youths and groups to emulate what he has done today. The University alone cannot undertakes all the developmental projects in the community, but when we have public-spirited individuals like this coming to support us, we are relieved.

Hon Chukwunwendu acknowledged that the only way the society can move forward is when people who are blessed with wealth begin to use their wealth to touch lives.

He described as anti-progressive, the situation whereby people sit and complain about what the government is not doing right, when they have the capacity to effect the desired change in the polity.

“For me, I strongly believe the task of building the society we want is ours to accomplish, especially in our homeland.

”That’s why I am championing the campaign for our people to think home, to bring back home their investments and help their various communities, begin to address some teething challenges that mitigate society peace and harmony.

”If we all can begin to think in this direction, soon, we may have no need to call on government for nothing,” he opined.
