Anambra 2025: Former Political Appointees Can't Stop Soludo From Getting Second Term -- APGA Scribe

...says they are only seeking daily bread from Ifeanyi Ubah, others

BY RAYMOND OZOJI,  Awka

The State Secretary of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Anambra State, Hon. Engr. Levi Ugochukwu Obiaduo, has once again reminded the group called Aggrieved Former Political Appointees that Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo's second term is a done deal.

Obiaduo who spoke exclusively with this journalist in his office at the APGA Regional Headquarters Agu-Awka, emphasized that no matter the plot against Soludo and the ruling APGA Government, it is already clear as crystal that Soludo has no rival and no competitor in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.

The APGA state secretary who spoke on a wide range of issues, maintained that it was no longer news that the said Aggrieved Former Political Appointees who served under APGA have declared to work against APGA because of bad blood, greed and avaricious attitudes.

He said people are entitled to their opinions and that propaganda is part of politics but the fact of the matter remains that Governor Soludo's impressive performance has already paved the way for his second term bid.

Obiaduo maintained that even the opposition would be dumbfounded and speechless at the rate in which Ndi-Anambra would collectively endorse Soludo's reelection in 2025 because of his sterling performance.

Speaking further on the clandestine move by former political appointees to conspire amongst themselves to embark on emotional blackmail after having enjoyed the rights and privileges of political appointees under the APGA government, the State Secretary stated that Governor Soludo was not someone who could easily be cowed by the tantrums of some group of persons christened Aggrieved Former Political Appointees.

Obiaduo reiterated that the said former appointees could connive with the likes of Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah or with whosoever they want because he believes they were in dire need of immediate daily bread and that there is acute hunger in the country following the prevailing economic crunch.

According to him, APGA remains the party for Anambra people come next year's governorship election and that the party is not shaking as it is confident that it will win the election, judging from Governor Soludo's transformational leadership style.

The APGA scribe was of the view that Soludo has touched every sector of Anambra economy ranging from health, education, infrastructure, security, youth empowerment, to mention a few, stressing that 2025 election belongs to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) because APGA has not failed Ndi-Anambra since it became the ruling party in the state.

On the issue of social media claims of insecurity in Anambra State, the APGA scribe noted that those were some of the negative propaganda and campaigns of calumny opposition elements were brandishing to truncate the tranquil atmosphere being enjoyed in the state as he believed that the governor was committed to securing the lives and property of the citizenry.

According to him, some of the stories were stories that happened decades ago while some he said did not happen at all but opposition elements, he said, will fabricate lies with fictitious characters and launch them into the social media just to create tension as well as discredit the government of the day.

Obiaduo however reminded the opposition political parties that the APGA government is steadfast and unperturbed about the fictitious stories of insecurity in Anambra in the social media space because he knows they will fail in their own games.

He therefore recalled that about 8 local government areas in Anambra State were under siege before Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo became governor. That the said council areas were held hostage by daredevils but the advent of Governor Soludo, according to him, doused the situation as police operations and  military operations have been intensified in the affected local government areas.

He said the 8 local government areas have now been reclaimed and inhabitants of the affected council areas have heaved a sigh of relief and have also expressed profound gratitude and appreciation to Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo for his timely response in addressing insecurity in their respective council area.

Obiaduo said APGA has her own strategy and that whichever way the pendulum swings, the 2025 Anambra Governorship Election belonged to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

He said that the likes of Ifeanyi Ubah, Valentine Ozigbo and other opposition elements will bow to APGA and Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo come 2025.
