The Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, Hon. Chief (Sir) Stanley Nkwoka (Ochendo Idemili) recently paid a homage to the traditional ruler of Abacha, His Royal Majesty IGWE Godwin Nwabunwanne Odiegwu (Ezedioramma Oranyelueze, Eze Ikendim Abachaleku the 111 of Abacha Ancient Kingdom) as he officially assumed Office tomorrow, Tuesday, 2nd July 2024.
The Council Boss would be received officially tomorrow at Idemili North Local Government Area Headquarters, Ogidi by the good people of Idemili North, stakeholders, APGA Idemili LG and Ward executives, party faithful, friends and well-wishers. Time: 10AM Prompt.
Speaking during the visit to Igwe Abacha, Chief Nkwoka noted that he was in the Royal Father's palace to pay him homage and as well solicit support as he assumed office officially tomorrow as the Chief Servant of Idemili North Local Government Area, saying that he would ensure that the traditional institution in the LG got the respect, recognition and honour they truly deserved, adding that he would leave no stone unturned towards ensuring an unbreakable synergy between traditional institution and the Council.
Ochendo Idemili while addressing the Monarch called for concerted efforts towards implementing and domesticating the Governor's agenda in Idemili North, saying that with individual and collective support the aims and objections of the State's Number One Citizen would be achieved.
Receiving the Chairman, Igwe Abacha commended him for coming through and also for recognizing the need to carry everybody along in his onerous task of repositioning and moving Idemili North to greater heights, even as he urged all to support the new Council Chairman.
