Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has expressed his gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for appointing Dame Didi Esther Walson-Jack as the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
In a statement released on Monday by his Chief Press Secretary, Nelson Chukwudi, Fubara lauded Walson-Jack not only for her groundbreaking achievements but also for her role as a representative of Rivers State and the Niger Delta region.
He highlighted her distinguished career in the Civil Service, noting her exemplary leadership and integrity, particularly since her appointment as Permanent Secretary in 2017.
Fubara emphasized that Walson-Jack’s exceptional public service career serves as an inspiration for young girls in the state, encouraging them to aim high.
He remarked, “As you begin your role as Head of the Civil Service of the Federation on August 14, we take pride in the significant milestone you have reached in your public service career.”
The Governor praised President Tinubu for his merit-based approach in the appointment and for his commitment to fairness, justice, and national integration. He expressed confidence that Walson-Jack will leverage her experience to advance the service reforms outlined in Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, benefiting all Nigerians.
