CFA Represents Anambra At Global Inclusivity, Says Anambra In Forefront of Tech Innovation

   By Mmaduabuchi Onwumelu

Our MD/CEO, Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata, CFA, is representing Anambra State at the Global Inclusivity and AI: Africa (GIAA) Conference happening from September 10-11, 2024, at the Lagos Continental Hotel.

The event, which began with a private dinner hosted by US Consul General Will Stevens, features notable leaders like Anna (ED of AfriLab), Dapo (Director at IHS), and Amal Hassan (CEO of Outsource Global).

They are exploring how AI can address both opportunities and challenges in Africa’s digital landscape.

Amal Hassan’s journey is especially inspiring—her work has uplifted thousands of young Nigerians, proving that tech can unlock endless opportunities for all.

With Nigeria’s rich cultural diversity—over 300 ethnic groups and more than 500 languages—the GIAA Conference underscores the need for AI development that is inclusive and beneficial to all communities.

This conference also represents a significant step in U.S.-Nigeria relations, aiming to harmonize AI governance strategies and ensure safe, secure, transparent, and trustworthy AI deployments.

Building on the National AI Strategy Workshop held in Abuja earlier this year, the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, along with NITDA, is pushing forward with efforts to integrate Nigeria’s diverse landscape into AI frameworks.

Anambra State is honored to be recognized for its leadership in digital transformation under the visionary guidance of Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR.

This conference highlights our ongoing commitment to shaping a tech-driven and inclusive future for all.

How do you envision AI impacting Nigeria’s diverse communities?
