This milestone is a recognition of Dr. Ibie’s unwavering commitment to promoting peace, justice, and human dignity through her work in academia, advocacy, and community service.
A leader in human advocacy, Dr. Ibie’s groundbreaking contributions extend far beyond the classroom. As CEO of ISK Production and ISK Consulting, she spearheads initiatives that drive positive social change across Nigeria and Canada. Her passion for empowering marginalized communities is evident in her founding of the Nigerian Canadian Resettlement Center and the Women Supporting Women in Politics Network, organisations that have touched countless lives.
Dr. Ibie’s efforts have garnered international attention and prestigious accolades, including being named Best Africa Female Filmmaker at the 2023 Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival and receiving the President’s Volunteer Service Award. Her work in film and media continues to elevate stories that advocate for justice, peace, and equity.
