As November 8, 2025 governorship election draws closer, Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra state has reportedly approved five hundred million naira for propaganda and coordinated media attack against his attackers and the opposition elements.

Top targets, according to the information, are the Spiritual Director of the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry, Uke, Anambra state, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma (Fr. Ebube Muonso) and a number of other opposition elements, especially within the All Progressive Congress (APC) and the Labour Party (LP), who the governor is said to have perceived as his top attackers.

Dr. Nwachukwu, Senior Pastor of the Bible Base Miracle Assembly, Nkpor-Agu, said he was upset that Mathias Ezeaku, a native doctor, took to the social media to say that Jesus Christ has no power to heal the sick, make the lame walk or make the barren to conceive, among other claims.

Dear Governor,

I write to convey my worries which are not totally different from the concerns of the silent majority who are shy of communicating same to you. You may never get to know your public rating because of your brand of politics that forbids feedback and encourages echo chamber. You have since assumption of office fought every real and imaginary enemy and seem determined to carry on with the offensive as long as you remain the governor of Anambra state. It does appear there is no restraining you.

Since Thursday when his autobiography, A Journey In Service, was launched, former military president, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, has taken center-stage of national attention. The autobiography reminds me of James Hadley Chase’s Make the Corpse Walk. It is the story of eccentric millionaire, Kester Weidmann, who in his weirdest best, believed money could buy everything, life and death inclusive. So, one day, Weidmann woke up with the crazy idea that his dead brother could be brought back to life. He then enlisted the services of a voodoo specialist to perform this crazed task. Rollo, crooked nightclub, owner was his perfect find to act out this massive con artistry of a lifetime. Things however went awry with the cast of this weird task who soon told themselves that Weidmann’s wealth was more attractive a pie than his absurd voodoo fabrication.

The Media Unit of the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry, Uke, Anambra State, has said that the Spiritual Director of the Ministry, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Chibuzor Obimma (Fr. Ebube Muonso), was misrepresented in a malicious write-up circulated on the social media by enemies of Anambra State, wherein it was wrote that the Catholic priest said that killing of Anambra lawmaker, Hon. Justice Azuka, as well as escape of two principal suspects held for allegedly killing the lawmaker were perfected because the said lawmaker belonged to Labour Party (LP) and not the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) where Governor Soludo belongs.

Maj.-Gen. Oluyemi Olatoye has taken over as the 39th General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 82 Division of the Nigerian Army and Force Commander, Joint Task Force South-East code-named 'Operation UDO KA'.

Olatoye took over from the outgone GOC of the Division, Maj.-Gen. Hassan Dada, who have been deployed to Nigerian Army Heritage and Future Centre.

Ex-IGP Okiro withdraws from Ohanaeze President General contest

 

Former Inspector General of Police, Sir Mike Okiro has withdrawn from the race to occupy the position of President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo.

Available reports has it that Okiro made the announcement during a press briefing in Enugu on Thursday.
