Former X Factor contestant Simone Battle commits suicide
Beautiful singer Simone Battle best known as a member of girl group G.R.L has passed away. The 25 year old former X Factor contestant committed suicide in her home on Friday September 5th. Police say she was found hanging in a closet in her bedroom around 8:30am.A family friend revealed Simone had been quietly battling depression for a while.Simone came to prominence as a contestant on US X-Factor in 2011. She was a finalist on the show, making it to the top 17 before being eliminated by her mentor on the show, Simon Cowell.
