South African Gay and Lesbian Film
Festival, Out in Africa (OIA), returns this year after it was closed down last
year due to financial woes. It will hold from Wednesday, May 28 through Sunday,
June 1, at Cinema Nouveau in Rosebank, Johannesburg and The V&A Waterfront
in Cape Town.

have emerged that Nigerian R&B artist Olubankole Wellington
popularly known as Banky W is actually preparing to become Ciroc Vodka
ambassador.
The singer who is already an MTN
ambassador, might have stylishly announced his new deal with Ciroc Vodka worth
millions of dollars.
If the deal sails through, Banky will
be joining the likes of P.diddy, Rick Ross, DJ Khalid, French Montana, Olamide
and others who have already become faces of the liquor drink.

a new album State of the Nation, in which major part of the album was dedicated
to the Awujale of Ijebu land who celebrated his 80th birthday a couple of weeks

The new album produced by his new
music company, Fuji Repete features his children; Honey B and Musty, Alhaja

June 12th New Date For Amaka Igwe's Burial
Nollywood Icon and filmmaker, Amaka
Igwe who died on the 28th of April will be laid to rest on Friday, June 13, at
her marital home in Ndiuche Arondizuogu , in Imo State.
According to a statement by a media
consultant, BHM,various events preceding her funeral as announced by the family
include; A tribute evening and Lagos Service of Songs at Haven Gardens G.R.A
Ikeja on the 9th of June, and Enugu Service of Songs at Okpara Square, Enugu on
the 12th of June, 2014.
