ROBBERY SUSPECT HIDES GUN INSIDE DISC PLAYER

The Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) in Lagos has arrested a suspected armed robber who concealed a locally made gun inside a disc player.
The suspect, Azeez Adebayo, a native of Ifo in Ogun State was arrested in the course of an undercover operation by the police.
According to the police, Adebayo is a member of an armed robbery gang, which normally comes to Lagos to rob and then return to the neighbouring states.

Update: Nigerian Student Jumps To Her Death After She Was Caught Cheating In A Test

A bright Nigerian girl, a student at a top American city high school, has jumped to her death after she was humiliated in front of her classmates for cheating on a test. Omotayo Adeoye, 17, of The Bronx, was so ashamed that she jumped to her death in the Hudson River Thursday, according to The New York Post.

Omotayo wrote a suicide note right on her German-language exam that read, “I just want to go away forever on the bottom of the river,” law-enforcement sources said.
