The Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, His Lordship Most Rev. Dr. Paulinus Chukwuemeka Ezeokafor has set to lead the enlightenment campaign for the forthcoming permanent voter’s card registration and revalidation exercise.
In a release signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Bishop, Mr. Abuchi Onwumelu, Bishop Ezeokafor called on eligible voters in the state to troupe out and participate in the forthcoming permanent voter’s card registration and revalidation exercise.

A Spanish missionary who contracted the Ebola virus while working in West Africa has died in hospital in Madrid. More than 1,000 people have died in Liberia, Guinea, Sierra Leone and Nigeria since the outbreak was first reported in February.Miguel Pajares, 75, was airlifted back to Spain from Liberia last week with a nun who tested negative for the virus.
