The body of the Arab man, who was stabbed by his European girlfriend in the early hours of Saturday for not marrying her after a four- year relationship, has been handed over to his family.A security source at Dubai Police said that the operations room received a call from a European woman, saying there was a person who had been stabbed in her apartment in Al Nahda area.Police found the 38-year-old Arab man with multiple stab wounds lying on the bed. The European woman, 32, who was his girlfriend, then confessed that she had stabbed him and tried to commit suicide but she could not.
Nigeria has recorded two new Ebola cases, the Minister of Health, Onyebuchi Chukwu, announced Friday. Mr. Chukwu said the new cases are spouses of the primary contacts of the index case, Patrick Sawyer, the Liberian-American who brought the virus to Nigeria Premiumtimes Reports. He said the new cases are the first secondary contacts to test positive to the deadly virus that has killed five people in Nigeria. The secondary contacts had been under surveillance since the outbreak of the disease in Nigeria, Mr. Chukwu added.
Barely two months after former president Olusegun Obasanjo said in a letter that President Goodluck Jonathan promised to serve one term, he has restated that the president actually vowed to do so. Speaking to Bloomberg News, a London-based tabloid, yesterday, Obasanjo said during the 2011 electioneering, Jonathan promised to serve one term.b“President Jonathan said, not only once, twice, publicly, not only in Nigeria, outside Nigeria, that he would have one term, and said that to me,” Obasanjo said.

Enugu State Government has described as false and misleading the statement by the deputy governor of the state, Sunday Onyebuchi that Governor Sullivan Chime operates a poultry and piggery at the Government House.
