Maiduguri Bambing: 24 killed, 54 injured in Bomb Scare
The Executive Secretary of the Borno State Hospital Management Board, Dr. Salisu Kwayabura, told the state governor, Kashim Shettima, that the 54 injured people were admitted at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital and the Umaru Shehu Ultra-Modern Hospital, Maiduguri.
“Out of this number, 14 of them who were critically injured have been referred to the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH) for proper treatment while 20 have been discharged,” Dr. Kwayabura said.

How I survived cancer- Wole Soyinka
He disclosed that he battled with cancer and survived only after receiving vigorous medications.
Mr. Soyinka spoke at a press conference at the June 12 Cultural Centre, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
He said the disease was first diagnosed in December 2013 and thanks to the early detection and compliance with medications, which he completed on October 28, he became free of the ailment last month.
Anambra: Obiano Bans Selling of Alcoholic Drinks in Motor Parks

In a bid to reduce road traffic crashes on the highways the Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano has put a final ban on the selling of alcoholic drinks in all the motor parks across the State.
Gov Obiano who was represented by Commissioner for Transport, Barr. Chuma Mbonu, stated this while declaring open 2014 Ember Months Awareness Campaign Flag-Off said the state had put necessary measures in place to ensure accident- free Christmas season noting that anyone who violates the order would be severely dealt with.
He said that his administration was paying huge attention road infrastructure in the state as to ease traffic within the state.
Tribute To Prominent Broadaster, CHAZ B
A prominent Nigerian radio broadcaster, Charles Bruce Chukwuma, also known as “Chaz B” is dead. Mr. Chukwuma was a popular presenter of a radio show “Sharing Life Issues” which aired on Inspiration FM Radio before moving to Rhythm FM.
Mr. Chukwuma abruptly signed off on air during his last presentation late Friday, telling listeners his colleague will finish the show. Friends and family said he died of complications arising from kidney failure.
Nigerian Man Sentenced To Death For Drug Trafficking In Malaysia
A Nigerian man, Abuchi Ngwoke, 35, was sentenced to death today November 25th, by a Malaysian Hight Court on a drug trafficking conviction .
Ngwoke was arrested at a Malaysian airport in 2012 after being found with 251.66 grams of Methamphetamine. According to reports, he swallowed gemstones in Nigeria before boarding a flight to Malaysia.
A date has not yet been set for his execution.

A lecturer with Kogi State University, KSU, Anyigba, Associate Professor Justice Olurotimi Otitolaye, has been reported killed by cult members in the institution.lecturer
Vanguard gathered that Professor Otitolaye, who had been championing war against examination malpractice in the institution, was abducted around Stadium Road, near the campus on Friday night, on his way to a supermarket.
His bullet-riddled body was found in the early of hours of Sunday at Ejule, which is about 8 kilometres away from the school.
