Senate President Again disregards letter of defection from defecting PDP senators To APC

The 11 Senators who have vocalised their intention to leave the ruling PDP for the APC have in the last couple of days preferred to discuss all of their political issues behind closed doors and away from the prying eyes of the media.

The matter has dragged on for over 2 weeks in a back and forth manner as the lawmakers searched for a political solution to the stand-off. A point of order by Senator Bukola Saraki was all that was needed to reopen the matter as soon as the senate resumed plenary.
