Man Loses Wallet in Israel, Finds it in Onitsha

wallet
It was a antale but there is nothing God cannot do. His blessings are without pains. Indeed, for everything there is a reason. He allowed it to happen. It was in far away Israel that a pilgrim, indeed Anambra State Coordinator of Nigeria Prays, Jeff Nwabueze, lost his wallet on arrival at Arazim Resort apartment in Tiberias, Israel. This reporter was his roommate and it really got us worried. We could not determine where and when it got lost and efforts were deployed to get the lost wallet all to no avail. But Nwabueze, “the choirmaster” of Bus 4, as he was called in Israel, continued to give us assurances that his blessings and joy would not be taken away by the loss and he kept praising God. The bus captain of Bus 4 and overseer of PHAD Ministry, Obosi, Pastor Ben Obiaguna, who is also a member of the Anambra State Pilgrims Board, gave us hope too that God will provide the wallet and the contents therein. Nwabueze got all the encouragement and support he needed because Bus 4 was indeed a family from Nigeria to Jerusalem and not without the normal family challenges now and

Certificate saga: Buhari defends self

Buhari certificate
THE All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday, defended himself over his school certificate saga. This came as his secondary school certificate result emerged, yesterday, when the Katsina State Ministry of Education released a certified statement of result of the presidential candidate’s 1961 school certificate examination.
Before the result was released, Gen. Buhari took a pause from his campaign schedule to address a press conference on the matter. Buhari described as a mischief orchestrated by the Jonathan administration to distract him from the issues of corruption, insecurity and unemployment which he said were at the heart of the campaign.
The production of the school certificate result nonetheless, the PDP Presidential Campaign Organization was, unrelenting as it yesterday called on Buhari to withdraw from the presidential contest on the basis of alleged perjury. The body said Buhari’s earlier claim on oath that his credentials were with the army board had been contradicted by available evidence.
Speaking at a press conference in the Kano State Government House, yesterday, Buhari expressed surprise that the Army board claimed not to be in possession of his certificate. He said he had as such requested his secondary school, the then Provincial Secondary School, Katsina now Government Secondary School, Katsina to provide the result.

TAN Responds To Governor Dickson, Says He Lacks Powers To Ban It

The Bayelsa State chapter of the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria (TAN) has expressed both surprise and disbelief over Governor Seriake Dickson’s reported statement ordering TAN and other political support groups to leave the state.
In a statement issued in Yenagoa on Saturday and signed by Nathan Egba, TAN’s director of publicity, the political group said the governor’s directive was regrettable, adding that Mr. Dickson lacked the constitutional powers to enforce the ban on TAN’s activities in Bayelsa.
“We are shocked because we find it hard to understand how an elected governor of a state would make such a statement in a democratic setting, as we have in Nigeria,” TAN said in its press statement.

Jonathan, Alison-Madueke, Okonjo-Iweala Involved In NNPC Diversion Of $50 Billion Crude Oil Funds-PREMIUM TIMES

President Goodluck Jonathan and two of his top ministers may be attempting a cover-up on what clearly competes as Nigeria’s biggest fraud ever, involving the illegal diversion, or theft, of over N8 trillion crude oil sales proceeds.
In a frantic and unusual memo to the president on September 25, 2013, Central Bank governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi detailed how government-owned oil firm, the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, had systematically diverted the huge sum, being sales proceeds between January 2012 and July 2013.
The CBN governor said for all crude oil sales within the period, the NNPC paid only 24 percent proceeds into the federation account, and diverted or stole the remaining 76 percent-totalling N8 trillion.
