Security Expert Petition Anambra Speaker To Retrieve Seized Properties From Governement

A security expert and social critic, Mr Chris Udeze  has appealed to the Anambra Government to assist in retrieving  his properties forcefully and illegally seized by Mr. Azubuike Ekwegbalu a Senior Special Assistant to Governor Willie Obiano on security matters.

The appeal was contained in a petition dated August 5, 2015 signed by the counsel to the petitioner Honourable. S.O Chukwukelu Esq., and addressed to the Speaker, Anambra state house of Assembly, Rt. Honourable. Rita Mmaduagwu, tagged: Unlawful Invasion, Break And Entry And Illegal Carting Away To Unknown Destination Of The Property of Honourable  Chris Okey Udeze M/D EXOTIC Solution Providers Limited BY MR. Azubuike Ekwegbalu, The Special Assistant  To The Executive Governor of Anambra State  On Security Matters.

NEW NNPC GMD ACCUSED OF DOUBLE STANDARD IN FIGHTING CORRUPTION

The new Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu has been accused of sparing his friend in the ongoing restructuring at the national oil company.
Sources said Mr Gbenga Komolafe, who is allegedly linked to several transactions that shortchanged the nation in the oil sector during the last administration, was retained while his counterparts in other departments were forced to resign.
Komolafe who held positions in commercial divisions including Executive Director Commercial, Pipeline and Products Marketing Company and recently the Group General Manager (GGM), Crude Oil Marketing Division, has now been posted as GGM Special Duties in the oil tower, a new position created by the new GMD.

Anambra PDP Suspends Olisa Metu Bans 9 Members From Contesting

There is confusion in Anambra State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as two factions are suspending each other . A faction of the party loyal to Olisah Metuh , national publicity secretary of PDP has banned nine chieftains, including the governorship candidate of the party in the 2013 election in the state, Comrade Tony Nwoye, from contesting any election on its platform for two years.

This was announced by the disciplinary committee of the party on Thursday in Awka, Anambra State capital.

Rising from a four-hour sitting at the party secretariat  the panel said that Nwoye and others who had been earlier suspended by the state executive committee were guilty of allegations leveled against them.

Buhari Gives Service Chiefs 3 Months Ultimatum to Flush Out Boko Haram Insurgency From Nigerian-PHOTOS

                                                                      
The Nigerian President, Mr.  Muhammadu Buhari has issued a three months grace priod to Service Chiefs to end the Boko Haram insurgency in the country.
He gave the directive while officially decorating newly appointed and cleared by the Senate service chiefs with their new ranks.
Those decorated are– Major-Gen. Abayomi Gabriel Olonishakin (Chief of Defence Staff), Major-Gen. T.Y. Buratai (Chief of Army Staff), Rear Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas (Chief of Naval Staff) and Air Vice Marshal Sadique Abubakar (Chief of Air Staff).
President Buhari urged them to fashion out strategies to defeat the jihadists in next three months.

Fashole Clears Alleged N78 Million Website Rumour

 The former Governor of Lagos State Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN) has finally broken the silence over alleged rumour making rounds , detailing how the Lagos State Government under his watch as Governor, spent the sum of N78 million for the upgrade of the website – www.tundefashola.com.
According to a budget report on the website of the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency (LSPPA), the contract was awarded to Info Access Plus Limited.
