REVEALED: Discovered Bones In South African Cave Reveal New Human Relative
Scientists say they've discovered a new member of the human family tree,
revealed by a huge trove of bones in a barely accessible, pitch-dark chamber of
a cave in South Africa.
The creature
shows a surprising mix of human-like and more primitive characteristics — some
experts called it "bizarre" and "weird."
And the discovery
presents some key mysteries: How old are the bones? And how did they get into
that chamber, reachable only by a complicated pathway that includes squeezing
through passages as narrow as about 7½ inches (17.8 centimeters).

Social activist and acclaimed Leader of Niger
Delta Peoples Volunteer Force, Alhaji Mujahideen Dokubo-Asari, has vowed that
the Ijaw nation will not allow Governor Henry Seriake Dickson and former President
Goodluck Jonathan to be disgraced by losing the December 5 gubernatorial
election to the main opposition party in the state, All Progressives Congress,
APC.
Dokubo spoke on
Tuesday when Governor Dickson formally declared his intention to seek re-election
on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

from being mocked by the opposition party.
He urged the electorates in his home state, Bayelsa to save his reputation from being
ridiculed in the forthcoming guber election in the state.
President Buhari in Close Door Meeting With Tinubu And Akande To Perfect Ministeial Appoinmentn
Efforts to perfect the ministerial list was finally sealed Wednesday when President Muhammadu Buahri had a three hour closed door meeting with the APC National leader, Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and former APC Acting Naional Chairman, Chief Bisis Akande.
Tinubu and Akande arrived the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja at about 3.15pm.
The meeting is taking place inside the president's office.
President Buhari is expected to name his ministers any time this month.

Former President Obasanjo Holds Another Secret Meeting With President Buhari
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Tuesday held another secret
meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Such meeting was
first held at official residence of the president earlier last month.
The
meeting which lasted for over an hour was also held behind closed doors in the
President’s office for over an hour.
Obasanjo who wore
a flowing white gown ( Agbada ) refused to speak with State House
Correspondents on his mission to the presidential villa despite all entreaties.

Goodluck Jonathan has endorsed the Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson for
a second term citing his excellent track record of regular payment of workers
salaries, reduction of the state’s huge debt profile and infrastructural
development.

President who spoke while receiving Governor Dickson at his country home,
Otuoke in Ogbia Local Government Area of the state, said his decision was based
on the developmental strides of the governor in the last three and half years
in the state.

Anambra Judiciary Again Embark On Indefinite Strike
The Anambra State
Judiciary Staff Union (JUSUN) has embarked on indefinite strike owing to the negligence
of the state government to implement the consolidate judicial workers
salary structure .
This was
disclosed in an interview with the state chairman Mr.Mark Ifezue, who expressed
disappointment on the part of the state governor not to have fully complied
with the national judicial salary structure demand.
