That was strange as complaints have trailed the exams but the management has dismissed the allegation that over 200 students of the University (UNIZIK) slumped while writing the post-UTME examination on Monday.

Trade Union Congress of Nigeria have joined their counterparts
nationwide to stage a peaceful rally to draw attention of political
authorities to the state of the country and damages corruption has

Delivering the address signed by the National Presidents of
Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and TUC, Comrades Ayuba Wabba, mni and
Bobboi Kaigama, the Anambra State Chairman of NLC, Comrade Jerry Nnubia
said the rally was a national discourse to drastically reduce the cost
of governance at all level against the background of the fall in the
price of crude oil and foreign revenue.
They called on Governor Willie Obiano to fashion out
modalities that would help his government to reduce the cost of
governance from the state to local government area level as President
Muhammadu Buhari, who upon assumption of office mandated Revenue
Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), to do a
comprehensive downward review of salaries and allowances of elected and
