President Muhammadu Buhari held a presidential dinner with National Assembly Members and All Progressive Congress (APC)   national leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the new Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Wednesday.

The dinner attracted the presence of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; APC national leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; Deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, some presidential aides and other top government functionaries

Governor Obiano is still servicing the N1bn Commercial Agricultural Loan his predecessor, Peter Obi borrowed from the Federal Government for on lending to farmers in the State through the Ministry of Agriculture and All Farmers Association of Nigeria (ALFAN), Anambra Chapter. 

Unfortunately, the loan was listed in his handover not as part of the phantom N75bn cash. It is not even an investment yet, Peter Obi’s Aide, Val Obienyem, has been shouting about that Anambra is taking a loan.

The All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, has thrown its weight behind Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State in the ongoing face-off between him and his estranged predecessor by challenging the former Governor, Mr Peter Obi, to produce evidence that he handed over N75bn to his successor as claimed in his handover note to Obiano some 18 months ago.

Mrs. Obiano Tasks Women on Sustained Family Values

 

The Wife of the Governor of Anambra State, Her Excellency, Chief (Mrs.) Ebelechukwu Obiano has tasked women to sustain family values through their actions and prayers and also ensure there is no communication gap between them and their husbands in other to fulfill their role as mothers in society.
Mrs. Obiano made the plea over the weekend while addressing the 2015 Women Convention at the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry Uke, Idemili North, Local Government Area.
The wife of the governor told the participants that sustaining family values also rests on the ability to hold the household together with love and prayers, instilling  fear of God in the children and helping people in need in other to attract blessings from God. According to Mrs. Obiano; “Today I may be the wife of the governor but it is important to let you know that we started small. Sometimes the family income may put undue pressure on the husband and wife and that is when a woman must persevere in prayers.” Sharing personal experiences, Mrs. Obiano stated:

  It was a tale that aroused curiosity each time it was told.
