Nigerian rap artist, Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, known as Skales has revealed that Olamide Adedeji alias ‘Badoo’ was the one who sponsored his ‘Shake body’ music video and since then his life has not been the same.
The 26-year-old made this known via his Twitter handle on Monday.
Skales said this in appreciation of Olamide’s funding of his video.
In response to his tweet, Olamide playfully chastised the shake body crooner over revealing what was supposed to be a secret between them.
The US imposed sanctions on eight North Korean banks and 26 executives on Tuesday, ratcheting up pressure on the country amid increasingly bellicose exchanges with Pyongyang over its nuclear program.
“This further advances our strategy to fully isolate North Korea in order to achieve our broader objectives of a peaceful and denuclearized Korean peninsula,” US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said in a statement.
Tuesday’s announcement compounded economic sanctions which the United Nations unanimously imposed on North Korea after it carried out its latest nuclear weapons test early this month.
The new sanctions target North Koreans working as representatives of North Korean banks in China, Russia, Libya and the United Arab Emirates.
All property and interest of the designated companies and individuals in the US are blocked by the sanctions, effectively freezing them out of much of the global financial system.
Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, on Tuesday unveiled the new 20-feet statue of the late sage and nationalist, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, in Ikeja.
The British Airways stewardess behind the racist Snapchat rant against “Nigerian passengers demanding f***ing upgrades” has confessed that having been single for two years long, she misses male company.
She has been revealed to be Ms Joanne Wickenden, who is 23 years old.
She seems to peg her rude remarks against Nigerian customers of the British airlines on what appears to be her sexual frustration, with particular references to Nigerian men and their sex organs.
She had portrayed herself as a sex-starved woman who is in desperate need of male companion, having used plenty expletives such as ” f***ing,” “b***s,” and “Big d****” all of which are sexual innuendos that refer to the male sex organ.
Ms Wickenden was also outed as an aspiring actress who hunted for male company on the dating website, Plenty of Fish.
Senior Advocate of Nigeria and lawyer to Psquare, Festus Keyamo, has appealed to Nigerians to leave the wives of the artistes out of their ongoing disagreements.
Keyamo, via his official Twitter handle, released a statement clarifying the issues involved in the breakup of the group.
Keyamo talked about the video circulating online showing the Okoye’s using abusive language and threatening one another.
The SAN also exonerated his chambers in the release of the confidential documents proving the termination of the contract by Mr P.
Keyamo further urged the public not to aggravate the already sensitive issue by dragging their wives into it adding that they had never interfered in any way.
Saudi Arabia will allow women to drive from next June, state media said Tuesday, in a historic decision that makes the Gulf kingdom the last country in the world to permit women behind the wheel.
The shock announcement comes after a years-long resistance from women’s rights activists, some of whom were jailed for defying the ban on female driving.
The decision risks riling religious conservatives and is part of the government’s major reform drive, conceived by powerful Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
“The royal decree will implement the provisions of traffic regulations, including the issuance of driving licences for men and women alike,” the Saudi Press Agency said.
The Comptroller-General of Customs, Col. Hameed Ali (Rtd) on Tuesday met with the Turkish Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Hakan Cakil, over the recent seizures of Pump Action rifles imported into the country from Turkey.
The meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the Nigeria Customs Service in Abuja, lasted for almost two hours.
The Public Relations Officer of the NCS, Mr. Joseph Attah, said in a statement that the meeting dwelt on how to fashion out ways of dealing with the recurring cases of arms importation from Turkey.
This year alone, the NCS had, on four occasions, intercepted pump action rifles smuggled into the country totaling 2,671 pieces.
Curvy actress, Anita Joseph, was the topic of discussion during the week when a video that showed her twerking for actor, Charles Okocha, aka Igwe 2pac, went viral on the Internet.
A lot of people expressed misgivings about the video, saying that it did not tally with Joseph’s claims that she is a born-again Christian.
However, Anita told sunday scoop that she doesn’t see anything wrong with what she did. She said, “The video was recorded on a movie set; we’re working on something together. I am not concerned about people saying all sorts because if you do something, and it is not criticised, then it means that thing is not worthwhile. The people who liked the video are about 80 per cent while the haters are just about 20 per cent; so it means we ‘won.’ Some people said we made their day with that video, while some said their children have been laughing so hard at the video. A lot of people have said encouraging things about the video and that’s what matters. The people who don’t like it can shove it up their backsides.”

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, speaks with Ashiwaju Media about the recent flood disaster in the state, the Paris Club refund and the states unsustainable wage bill among other issues
How is your state coping with the recent flood disaster?
Let me seize this opportunity to express our gratitude to all Nigerians, civil society and the media in particular for standing by us during our time of distress occasioned by the unexpected flooding that occurred recently in Benue State. It brought a lot of pain and devastation upon our people but it was a good experience because, for once, we have seen that we are in the hearts of Nigerians based on the responses we got from Mr. President, various corporate organisations, individuals and the Federal Government; we deeply appreciate it. We hope that this support will continue to help us amend the destruction caused by the flooding.
