Gospel Vibes will hold its concert tagged “Praise the Almighty” on February 18.
The programme, which is in its sixth edition, is an annual praise and worship session.
It will be held at the LTV 8 compound, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos by 2pm.
According to the organisers, gospel acts such as Tope Alabi, Nathaniel Bassey, Bidemi Olaoba and Pastor Femi Emmanuel will minister in songs.
The concert featuring three star artistes – Adekunle Gold, Simi and Praiz – will hold at the Muri Okunola Park, Victoria Island, with the organisers, X3M Music, saying it would offer memorable experience. It is coming as a Valentine bonus for music lovers.
Speaking on his preparedness for the treat, Gold said he valued the interaction he would, again, have with his fans. According to him, he is prepared to give them the best.
He said, “This is not like every other show because we are going to have fun. It’s going to be an amazing night. I’ve heard many people complain of not getting live concerts. To be honest, it’s not fair that I have a song on my phone. I’ve listened to it. Now, you have a show and I’m listening to the song in the car before I get to your show and then you now come on stage to sing the same thing.

Popular entertainer, Charles Oputa, aka Charly Boy, recently gave out one of his daughters in marriage and he is still basking in the euphoria of the event. Telling Sunday Scoop about how he felt on that day, he said, “I had mixed feelings actually. I put in a lot of time in my daughter’s upbringing and we bonded so well. As a parent, you could sometime wish that your offspring would stay with
you forever, but at a point, you have to let go. I am happy that I’m letting go to someone who is a gentleman, considerate and thoughtful. I wish her a happy married life. She has a good pedigree, and both the bride and groom’s parents have good marriages that have stood the test for time; that ought to count for something.”

The Canadian, who gave only her first name as Lauren, revealed that she doesn’t care much about dating any man.
She also revealed that she grew up with a gland disorder that affects her body’s hormone production. This made her to seek a sperm donor and eventually become a single mum — against the advice of doctors and friends.
“I was born with hypopituitarism, which means my pituitary gland is not formed properly.
“It doesn’t send the right hormonal messages to the other glands in the body, like the adrenaline gland or the ovaries. Because of that, I have to take hormone replacements to develop necessary areas of my body.
