FG trade moni excites Onitsha petty traders
Over two (200) hundred petty traders in Onitsha main market, Anambra state were excited yesterday after they
received bank alerts of N10,000 Trader Moni of the Federal Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme, for small businesses.
Earlier before the beneficiaries started receiving the bank alert for their N10,000,00. Trader Moni, some traders were threatening that they will disrupt the programme and tell the world the Federal Government deceit, if they were not paid.

The event is organized annually by Barth Nwibe and Ugo Igbo-Ukwu foundation, as part of his philanthropic gestures and a way of encouraging younger ones to take their education very serious, because education is very important and the gateway to a successful life.

Girl-Child Marriage: NGO warns female Students on Dangers

As
parts of efforts instituted to reduce the trend of early girl child marriage in
south east, Nigeria, a Non-Governmental Organization ‘’Anambra Girls Connect’’
has advocated that female students should be made to know the intrinsic dangers
embedded in submitting to infant motherhood.
They
are advised to be resolute and ensure they shun any form of inducement or
family challenges that may subdue them to the danger of entering into early
marriage.
The
group whose proclivity over the years have been to educate and infuse
confidence in girl child of school ages to be equipped with the knowledge of its environment and put up meaningful ideas
that will affect its society positively.
