IN 4 YEARS, ABIA WILL BECOME THE CHINA OF AFRICA, and Made-In-Aba products will be exported massively''...Sampson Uche Ogah.
A true leader is one who leads by example. Technically, leaders are appraised or judged by the economic values they bring to the organisation, government or group to which they administer. Show me a poor, impoverished and hunger-ravaged nation and I will tell you the stroy of a bad, incompetent president, governor or military administrator. Same goes for corporate organisations, businesses and other corporations. This illustrastion is true of our nation, Nigeria and particularly Abia state. Good leadership is evident in the economy and standard of living of it's people. Needless to say that Nigeria has continued to gropple with poverty, underdevelopment and backwardness as a result of maladministration by it's leaders

Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu’s Candidature and the Judiciary as Arbiters
Chamberlain Okolo
For keen watchers of the unfolding politics of 2019 as it affects electioneering for Anambra South Senatorial seat, the 13 December, 2018 voiding of the All Progressives Grand Alliance’s 3rd October, 2018 primary election which duly produced Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu as APGA flag bearer for the Senate, by Justice Valentine Ashi of an Abuja High Court only confirms the endemic intrigues and obfuscating subterfuge that underscore the play of politics therein. Anambra South Senatorial Zone suffers all the malignant electoral features (excepting the bizarre phenomenon of a party’s multiple candidates for single electoral seats) obtainable in Anambra Central Senatorial seat tussle prior to the emergence of Senator Victor Umeh whose exemplary representation in the 8th Senate has largely subdued the political shenanigans and the systemic revulsions in the Zone, thereby smoothening Umeh’s track to the 9th Senate come February 2019.

I Remain APGA Senatorial Candidate For Anambra South --Prince Ukachukwu
Following the Federal Capital Territory judgment court that nullified the All Progressive Grand
Alliance (APGA) Anambra South senatorial primary that produced Prince Nicholas
Ukachukwu as its substantive candidate, Ukachukwu said he remains the candidate
of the party for the 2019 general elections.
He described the judgment delivered by Justice
Valentine Ashi of the State High Court FCT as jaundiced, noting that the
plaintiff never sought any relief against the candidacy of Prince Nicholas
Ukachukwu neither did he join INEC as a body in the said Judgment.
The APGA Anambra South senatorial candidate made
this known in a press release signed by his senior special assistance on Media, Mr. Ken Ezekwelu to journalists in Awka, disclosed that Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu
would not be deterred by the judgment, noting it was a back door judgement that lacks judicial merit
to invalidate an election duly monitored by the Independent National Electoral
Commission (INEC), noting further with strong equivocation that the Prince
Nicholas Ukachukwu won the primary overwhelming in the open gear of the
media, security agencies, INEC and other notable observers who had since
independently adjudged the election as freest and transparent.
MIDWEST SUMMIT 2018: Indigenes demand De-federalization of Nigeria
The 12 tribes of the old Midwestern region of
Nigeria have demanded for a de-federalization of the country to recognise Edo
and Delta states as a constitutional demarcated MidWestern region created in 15th
of July 1963.
The leaders of thought from the region though affirmed
their incontrovertible support for the corporate existence of Nigeria as a country,
requesting that the mistakes allegedly perpetuated
during the three decades of the nation’s military interregnum should be corrected
as the country is clamouring for a restructured state.
