The All Progressives Congress (APC) Screening committee has disqualified Governor Godwin Obaseki from participating in the governorship primary of the party slated for June 22.

The announcement was made by Prof. Jonathan Ayuba, Chairman of the screening committee.

In a motion of “URGENT PUBLIC IMPRTANCE”, Hon. Chief Lawrence Ezeudu, (APGA, Dunukofia), raised alarm of the devastating effect of the illegal excavations, and the environmental degradation it caused. He was seconded by Hon. Barr.
