2023 PRESIDENCY: South East Leaders Threaten Mass Defection To APC If PDP Refuses The Zone to Produce President
Ahead of the 2023 Presidential elections, some prominent leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, from South East geopolitical zone have threatened to dump the party for the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, if the presidential ticket was not ceded to the zone.
The PDP leaders also vowed not to take vice presidential position from the party, saying that anyone from the zone that accepts vice presidential ticket will be tagged as an enemy of the zone.

Anambra Lawmaker Distributes Cassava Stems To Constituents
Patrick Obalim-Udoba, lawmaker representing Anambra west in the state house of assembly, has distributed bundles of “high-yield” cassava stems to the people of his constituency.
Obalim-Udoba, said cassava stem will help the communities to mitigate the negative effect of the flood and allow them to kick-start farming in earnest.
Trump Insists Biden Won Election Through Rigging
However, Trump reiterated his unsubstantiated claim that Biden stole the election through the rigging.
“He won because the election was rigged,” the president said in a tweet, adding that election observers were denied access to voting counting centres.
Trump also alleged that the votes were tabulated by a “Radical Left privately-owned company, Dominion, with a bad reputation and bum equipment that couldn’t even qualify for Texas”.
