In this interview, he speaks about the 2023 presidential election, and the need to pacify the Southeast region. Excerpts
It’s 2022, deep into the 21st Century, Nigeria has no regular electricity. Healthcare, education, primary sector, are all decrepit. Nigeria simply needs a leader. And Nigerians think Peter Obi is that leader. They think the former governor of Anambra State has the Oriental mojo, the Victorian genteel mien and the American entrepreneurial spunk to conjure a mix of positive leadership for the nation. For this, Obi is trending on social media. In worship centres, marketplaces, in the streets, even in pubs, Obi pops up with pleasant plumes.
Further to his consultations towards the 2023 presidential election, the former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, has canvassed a new Nigeria where production, rather than sharing formula, would be the new song, insisting that there was, after all, nothing to share again in Nigeria. Obi made this call Friday while speaking to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders at Calabar and Ilorin.
The women leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) across the country, have praised former Governor Peter Obi, who, they said, stood out by his impeccable character, excellent leadership qualities and gender friendly approach to governance.
