It was wild jubilation in Ukehe, Igbo-Etiti Local Government Area and in Lejja, Nsukka Local Government Area, yesterday, when the Governor of Enugu State and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for Enugu North Senatorial District, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi visited the two communities to witness the presentation of Christmas gifts to widows and the less privileged by his Commissioner for Lands and Urban Development, Nnanyelugo Chidi Aroh and a member of the Governing Council of the Federal University of Technology, Abeokuta, Barr. Patrick Onyema Omeke, respectively.
Two killed, eight injured in Anambra Christmas accident
A male adult and a female child died in a road accident on Saturday at the Curtis filling station along Nteje-Awka Expressway, Anambra State.
The incident involved two vehicles, a commercial Toyota Hiace bus marked AGL552JT and a commercial Daf/truck with no registration number.

GOV. AKEREDOLU SIGNS 2023 APPROPRIATION BILL INTO LAW
Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has signed the 2023 appropriation bill into Law.
The Governor had on December 5 presented a total budget proposal of N272.736 Billion to the State House of Assembly for approval and passage.
