Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has commiserated with the family of Chinwoke Mbadinuju (Odera), former Governor of the state, who passed in the early hour of Tuesday at the age of 78.

He was said to have died at the National Hospital in Abuja on Tuesday, at the age of 78.

Nigerian comedian, Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth, has revealed that the unpaid N30,000 fee his colleague AY claimed to be the reason for their rift is actually not the issue.  

Basketmouth revealed this during an interview he had with OAP Nedu on ‘The Honest Bunch’, which was shared on social media on Monday.

He said, “So what happened was Alibaba called me, he said I should check AY out and put him on, so I put him on laugh and jams back then, we were supposed to come together to start something .

A middle-aged man has been stoned to death on Easter Monday after  he  crushed four persons to death in a road crash that occurred at Ijoka Area of Akure, the Ondo State capital.

The man whose identify is still unknown  was driving a Toyota car along the road and suddenly skidded off its lane to crush the victims who were on commercial motorcycles.

The Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption (PACAC), Prof. Itse Sagay, said the 2023 election was the best so far in the country.

Sagay stated this while speaking in an interview on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics.

The Delta State Government has denied reports that it deported a female beggar allegedly constituting a nuisance in Asaba, the capital city.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Olisa Ifeajika, refuted the alleged deportation in a statement late on Sunday in Asaba.

He stated that the 32-year-old Ogochukwu Nwabude, who always clutched a baby, stayed at the Inter Bau Roundabout on the Asaba-Okpanam Road, for about two weeks begging for alms.

Loan apps on Play Store will lose their ability to access their users’ contacts or photos from May 31, 2023.

This came as the Federal Government said it would enforce the latest policy by Google, saying the action was consistent with the Nigerian authorities’ move to curtail the invasion of customers’ privacy by loan app firms.
