WASSCE REACTS TO RESULTS DELAY

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has attributed the delay in releasing the exam results of students in Ogun state to a technical problem.

Ayobami Suberu, the Branch Controller of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) for Ogun State, has disputed claims that the withholding of results for some public school students in the state was due to financial arrears. He labeled the report as "mischievous and unbalanced," noting that the state government owes WAEC nothing.
