Unconfirmed report reaching ashiwaju.org disclosed that the Nigeria Supreme Court has sacked the the elected National Assembly members from Anambra state produced by other group not connected with Chirs Uba led faction of the  People Democratic Party.
The Apex court ruled in its unanimous judgement Friday, averred that the members of the Chirs Uba led faction were duly nominated and conducted their primates in accordance with the electoral act guidelines.

The All Progressives Congress has said it would await the completion of its senatorial primary election for Anambra Central, in an apparent rejection of a report by its panel recommending the disqualification of a former House of Representatives member, Uche Ekwunife, from contesting for the seat, on an APC ticket.
The report by a screening committee, headed by Osita Okechukwu, had recommended the denial of the party’s ticket to Ms. Ekwunife, calling her a “fair weather hen” who changed political parties at will.
